IT HAPPENED.
someone actually traded me a nebula. i was so happy i could cry: ;_; i didn't actually cry but you know, i felt so joyful inside. you know what this means?
THE PENDRAGON LEGACY IS COMING SOON TO A CAVE NEAR YOU....
seriously. i am so excited for this. plus, it's halloween and that means pumpkins and marrows and new dragons ALL UP IN MY SCROLL. everything is so exciting lately. no wonder my essay was written at the last minute and i no longer have a life...
(if i ever really had one)
now, if you'll excuse me, i want to go stare at my nebula hatchling some more...

... NEBULAS!!!!!!!!!
Friday, 21 October 2011
DYING ON THE INSIDE FROM JOY.
i have caught a CB red, ember, purple and... purple :P
it's such a good feeling when you manage to actually catch those elusive dragons. especially if they're rare!
now i just hope someone wants to trade the red/purple for a black/nebula...

...the merwyrm dragon
when perusing the dragon cave forums, the urge to want to sprite was always going to happen. with saori drawing amazing dragons, and my ability to sketch with visual inspiration, we managed to create the merwyrm dragons, a species that bathe like mermaids and swim and sing like dolphins.
after looking at the "to be posted" list, we realised there were dragons with too many similiarities to give us the courage to post, so we decided the best place to post them was here!
with all credit for the female sketches going to saori, and the male sketches going to me, we decided to share them :P
(the eggs and first!stage dragon also go to saori)
please let us know what you think!
adult
Mature Merwyrm Dragons like to stick to the warmer coast rather than venture into deeper waters. They communicate using whistles and clicks, and you will often hear them singing a haunting lullaby to draw in prey. Tending to live together in pods while in the wild, they like shiny objects and bathing on the sun-lit rocks. The male has razor sharp fins, claws and long horns to protect its pod, while the female has softer, colourful fins to both attract mates and comfort the young.
mature hatchling
Aww...it's a cute baby dragon. It hatched without legs, but its long tail fin seems to enable it to swim just fine. It has grown arms and fins along its back, it must be close to maturing.

...the striped dragon
i am determined to get another stripe.
i already have tsuki delora who has a wonderful lineage. a 4th gen, sure, but he's still perfect. now all i need is that elusive female to breed with him...
one day, i will find one and then i will breed them until i have one of each colour. gifting the rest to anybody who desperately wants one, of course.
striped dragons: making siri's heart beat rapidly since 2011.

...the neglected real life
my sister hates me
that is the only conclusion i can come to when she says, "Sign up to Dragon Cave!"
worst. decision. ever.
i don't think i've ever refreshed a page so much than i did when i was searching for the ellusive gold dragon. this will, of course, mean nothing to anybody who hasn't wanted so desperately to find that one dragon they need to start a legacy in the 'cave. i recommend it to people - but only on the basis that you don't mind destroying your life one egg at a time.
